It’s always fun to go to the bars in Manhattan Beach, CA, especially when it’s the Manhattan Open, the legendary tournament that players call the “Wimbledon of beach volleyball.”

The event brings out locals by the thousands, who love to watch the pros play the sport that they themselves play on the many courts during the week, and then spend the next few hours downing drinks at the bars at the Pier.

And it’s even more fun when you go on a pub crawl with the Bud Light girls!

That’s what I did during one tournament. I started with them at Shark’s Cove, joined them at Hennessey’s and accompanied them two the two most lively bars during the AVP, Ercoles and with wildly popper Shellback Tavern. The girls were part of a fun group that included the Bud Light party team.

The Bud Light girls do promos in the Los Angeles Beach Cities like Manhattan Beach – I also joined them at the previous week’s tournament in neighboring Hermosa bEach for beach volleyball and other fun events. Wherever the girls go, they turn heads, pose for pictures and pass out Mardi Gras beads and other Bud Light promotional items.

With a wink of an eye, they also make it an easy choice to drink a Bud Light, which is great because when you go on a pub crawl you don’t want to get too light headed.

At least until the last bar!
