That’s The Ticket For Us, But Not For The Blonde With The Bronze Legs

The inspiration for this article came from sitting on the porch in Hermosa Beach, CA.
A girl came off the beach but left her dog on it, went walking down The Strand, and held the leash over the two-foot-high wall while the dog walked on the sand.
It is illegal for a dog to be on a beach in most of California and this is my point. The girl was very good looking – tall, thin, blonde with legs so tanned you would think someone painted them a bronze color – yet blatantly did something that could result in a fine of several hundred dollars.
The reason is, she is so good looking she’s used to getting away with things. She was doing this so casually, getting a ticket didn’t even occur to her. She’s accustomed to having the rules bent for her, or not even applying to her, that often they don’t even occur to her that life could be any other way.
And that is why good-looking girls can get away with anything.
I’m not talking about flirting their way out of a traffic ticket, I’m talking about how they are so used to getting away with things they don’t give it a thought.
They do things that if I were to try, I would be caught the first 10 seconds, be given a stern lecture like from an elementary school teacher, then issued a ticket with a huge fine.
But not this girl. A few moments after walking her dog along the beach, she headed out of my view, both pulling the dog on and off the sand as if were some kind of game.
To her it is; to us others, it’s a ticket.
