All The World Is A Parade For Carnival Celebration With Beads, Bans & Floats

Recovery is for wimps!
On the heels of Super Bowl Sunday, it’s time to start thinking about the next party event.
And it’s ready to smother you the way the Philadelphia Eagles defensive line smothered Tom Brady on those last two drives.
Mardi Gras is underway in New Orleans and Fat Tuesday is Feb. 13. That’s the day before Valentine’s Day, by the way, so if you’ve got a wife/girlfriend you’re going to have to suck it up the next evening, too!
When you’re having fun, downtime is bummer time. You want to keep going while you’re on a roll. In sports, they refer to this as having momentum.
At our Super Bowl party, people were asking me “what’s happening next weekend!? Any big events??” They had their party momentum going and wanted to continue it pretty much non-stop.
Now it’s funny, but the day after the Super Bowl was quiet. So quiet in town, you could hear a pin drop. If anyone had the energy to drop a pin, of course.
And not to worry, for if you want go to nuts and quickly, you can do so the next two weekend at the Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans and at any of several lively Mardi Gras.Fat Tuesday/Carnival locations throughout the world.
The closest one to me is in San Diego’s Gaslamp, a Fat Tuesday parade, and it’s pretty fun.
And this is a huge party event, bigger even that the Super Bowl on a worldwide scale.
So dig out those Mardi Gras beats, put on some Zydeco music and let loose, for there’s another big party event.
Cheers!
