A 10-Day Celebration Of Southern California Craft Brews
There’s a beer week? In San Diego!?
This a pairing of perfect proportions, a hot bed of home-style brews in one of America’s best and most fun cities. I picture beer falling out a thousands taps, like rain from the sky in so many other cities this time of the year.
Taking place Nov. 2-11, San Diego Beer Week involves a series of events – pretty much kicking off with Guild Fest at Embarcadero Marina Park downtown – and crescendoing to a beer garden at The Lodge at Torrey Pines.
In between are nearly 40 events at many of the breweries, restaurants and bars in and around San Diego and North County, including such happenings as the Escondido Tamale Festival (Nov. 3), a beer pairing with Nomad donuts (Nov. 4) and special release parties by breweries.
But mostly, it’s a celebration of craft beer from what locals call the craft beer capitol of America. Paris has its lights, London has its theaters, Los Angeles its celebrities. San Diego has its craft beer.
San Diego Beer Week is put on by the San Diego Brewers Guild.

Cheers!
