Watch Out South Bay Beach Cities He’s Back In Town

Bring it on. I’m ready.
I’ve been bracing for this for a couple of weeks now, ever since my friend said he was coming to visit me in California.
He’s The World’s Most Dangerous Canadian, and I say that with the utmost respect.
And fear.
He is a former bartender and is currently a manager of a high-end restaurant. And heed this advice: Whenever you become friends with a bartender, it’s the best and worst thing that could happen to you. For one,, they know all the tricks and they can get you drunk before you feel you’re getting drunk.
That’s not good for single guys.
But more on that in another blog. For the moment, he’s here with me in the Los Angeles beach communities of Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach. To this point, we’ve not done any shots, his signature drinking mark. Beers and margaritas have been on the menu.
Things could change in a flash, tho, for the weekend party agenda includes Pancho’s.
For those not in the know, Pancho’s is a Mexican cantina in Manhattan Beach that has a live band on weekends. And not just any live band, but some of the best musicians in the history of rock ‘n roll.
You never know who might be playing – the drummer from Styx or Alice Cooper, the guitar player from Tom Petty – and it’s always entertaining.
My friend loves it.
So far, he’s been tame. Then again, he’s just arrived in town.
Wait until he warms up for Pancho’s. I think I’m in trouble. And I’ll be loving it!
