A new local government law allows people to order a takeaway beer and other alcoholic drinks. The government decided to support small businesses and allowed people to buy a takeaway alcoholic drink from bars.
Nowadays, most companies, restaurants, and other businesses are moving to online services. Now it is possible to make everything on the Internet – order online food, book a trip there, play live casino here, or even attend concerts online. Now you can pre-order beer via the Internet, and it is great news for many lovers of this alcoholic drink.
Let’s see how it works and how to make preorder!
Most of the UK bars, as well as around the world, are experiencing heavy losses due to quarantine conditions. Some establishments and restaurants simply could not stand such a situation and start closing. Someone is still working, but only online. But what about the bars?
Bars and other breweries go online. The state decided to support small business establishments and allowed to sell their drinks and other menu items online. Now anyone can order and pick up their own beer. There is also a delivery service that can bring your alcoholic beverage right to your door.
This law came into effect just recently, and only on the condition that customers will not enter the restaurant. Until this law, only food establishments could operate online. However, alcohol was not available for delivery.
Local bar owners say that it doesn’t help much anyway. They have to make ends meet, as the demand for alcoholic beverages during quarantine leaves much to be desired. Still, such a resolution is encouraging, especially for the bar lowers.
The owners also state that the support of the bars is not only important for paying bills, but also for keeping the people interest.
Pubs and bars that do not have a mobile application are still in difficulty. In this case, the orders must be accepted by the manager who is in the restaurant establishment. For many businesses, this has become a real problem.
It is also worth noting that online alcohol sales were only available to licensed supermarkets. But alcohol bars did not apply this law.
The journey of getting online was hard and long for every restaurant and pub. Spring 2020 forced everyone to switch actively to online mode.
Therefore, if someone still does not have a mobile app, now is the time to think about it.
At this moment, it is difficult to predict what the future holds for closed pubs since the owners’ cash reserves will run out with time, and the profit at the moment does not pay off rent and other expenses. Therefore, this permission to sell takeaway food and alcohol has become a great opportunity for small establishments.
Hopefully, after the quarantine, our favorite breweries, pubs and other restaurants will still be open.
