Bali Island, Hotels & Activities Make This A Desired Destination
Indonesia has long been in the must visit list of … fearless surfers, lovers of sun, romantic, loving outdoor parties and many more people. It’s so great and has thousands of islands. There is so much variety, and amazing culture. In summer, mainly from May to September and in October, it is one of the best travel choices!
So why are we going now, since anyway it’s a hot destination? Especially the ever popular Bali Island! However, there is a particular flourishing hospitality at this time. In Bali alone, according to a report last month, hotel completeness increased by 4% last year, while inbound international flights increased 6% with an influx of 4 million foreign tourists bringing the total to more than 11 million for first time! So you clearly understand that 5 star hotels in Bali are among the first options in the world considering high quality services during the holidays.
There is yet more news concerning this area. More higher end hotels are opening at a faster rate than ever before. In January, the Hoshino brand introduced the Hoshinoya Bali hotel in the tropical forest of Ubud hinterland. There, the 30-storey luxury lodge with the pools and adjacent canals – a UNESCO cultural heritage site – is a representative example of the hotel’s infrastructure.
In June, it will be ready on the private island (which is actually five separate islands in three lagoons with incredible turquoise waters in the Anambas archipelago of Indonesia), two hours by boat from Singapore, resorts over an area of over 300 acres, beaches, gardens, and over the sea villas, many of them with luxurious safari style, other than bamboo that give easy access to 13 beaches and pristine forests!
The new trend in the hotel map has begun and continues dynamically. Villas – scenes with their own swimming pool that impress with the aesthetic combination of the West and the East and the aesthetics of the colonial style of the 19th century! This trend which first started as a joke is now the ultimate one in the world of hospitality.
And it’s not just hotels that invest in Indonesia. Since May, Star Clippers’ first trip to Indonesia – the most affordable and interesting alternative to chartering a private phinisi (sailing) things have absolutely changed. The 170 Star Clipper guests will sail by stopping in smallvillages, beaches and volcanic islands for snorkeling and diving! These traditional wooden sailboats have taken the place of alternative luxury over the past several years! You can truly understand that the tourism that increases in these areas, beyond all the famous places in Indonesia is massive and it is going to help other places have an important development.
New flights and local airports make reaching to the country much easier. Daily itineraries now connect the northern island of Sulawesi and the Raja Ampat, which is an adventure paradise for sailing adventures, and makes it easier for them to reach the place.
Flights to Indonesia from the US, meanwhile, still require a stopover in Asia or the Middle East. However, the country’s national carrier, Garuda Indonesia, was scheduled to start direct LAX-Jakarta routes but the route is still pending for final approval. If this route is going to be approved, then a massive income from the USA is no longer a dream. It is absolutely obvious that a lot of the Americans were thinking of a flight with long stop overs and never had the chance to be in Indonesia. If there is a direct flight, it is going to be way easier for them to take the decision and visit this heaven on Earth that which happens to be called Indonesia.
