NYC Citi Field & Fenway Park Hosting Grateful Dead Members
Dead & Company is having a 17-stop summer tour that includes two nights at Citi Field in New York, a two-show independence day weekend celebration at Folsom Field in Boulder and two nights at the famous Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin.
It all starts June 10 in Charlotte, N.C., and ends with a pair of shows at Boston’s famous Fenway Park on Friday and Saturday, July 15 & 16.
Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir; singer/guitarist John Mayer; Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge; and “Fare Thee Well” and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti will perform two sets of music drawing from the Dead’s historic catalog of songs.
Tickets go on sale starting on Friday, Feb. 12 at 10 AM at www.livenation.com with presale tickets available beginning Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 10 AM.
Dead & Company will also perform on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, onThursday, Feb. 18.
In October of 2015 the band took to the stage for their inaugural nationwide tour, kicking off with three sold-out concerts at the legendary Madison Square Garden and ending the year with two sold-out performances at the “Fabulous” Forum, and according to Billboard, the concerts are “magical.”
