Bakersville Hall Hosts Unique Bands, DJs And Artists Event

KALLIDA is a three-day music & arts festival taking place at and inside a mansion. In Wales.
Scheduled for June 22-24 it is limited to 500 people who will see bands on the 130 acres of Baskerville Hall – a 19th-century country house in the Wales countryside – before moving inside for the evening.
Organizers describe it as “a focus on immersive production & sound system culture,” adding it “a collaboration between visual artists, musicians and DJs to produce an experience that is both intimate and immersive.”
Visual artists are taking over different rooms inside the mansion to curate their own areas and immersive installations. A total of more than 50 “underground” musicians are performing at the event.

You don’t come here to sleep, by the way. The festival goes until 5 a.m., on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday until 2 a.m.
Tickets start at £65 and rise to £105 closer to the date for the entire weekend. There are no single-day ticket sales.
Accommodations & Camping: Some festival-goers are staying in the mansion, but sold out months in advance of the event.
However, camping is free. There is be ample space to spread out and pitch tents. Fires are only allowed in designated fire pit areas and not in the campsite. There are indoor toilets situated inside Baskerville Hall, which will be accessible between the hours of 09:00 – 05:00. Outside of these times, there is access to portaloos throughout the main area and campsite.
There are showers available in the campsite and indoor showers are available with all booked accommodation.
Alcohol: Sold at bars set up on the grounds and in the mansion. Can’t bring your own.
Food: Vendors will be selling vegan and vegetarian meals throughout the event. Inside, Baskerville Hall has a restaurant with a range of classic British dishes. You can also bring your own food to the festival.
Getting There: The nearest train station is Hereford, which is roughly 22 miles from the mansion. Shuttle buses will run between the station and the venue (£10 for the return).
