Gibson Guitars Launches Gibson TV Featuring Shows About Music

An Behind-The-Scenes Look At The Instruments Behind The Musicians

Music icons are not just comprised of musicians and bands, but the instruments those people play. Among the instruments are Gibson guitars, and now people can get a behind-the-scenes look at the company and the people who provide its beat with Gibson TV.

A free service on Gibson.com and also Gibson’s YouTube page, it involves a regular series of videos. You can subscribe or just tune in to watch at your leisure.

“We are excited to be launching GIBSON TV, our own online network,” said Cesar Gueikian, Chief Merchant Officer of Gibson Brands. “Our production team, led by Mark Agnesi and Todd Harapiak, has been working to make this happen for the last year, creating original programming and working closely with our artist community.

“Our objective is to make the journey of making music matter more than ever through storytelling. Music lovers around the world will now have access to engaging shows, created with iconic artists, on GIBSON TV. And this is just the beginning, we have a lot more coming.”

GIBSON TV features exclusive, original shows, including:

• “THE PROCESS” – Season 1 of “The Process” takes a cinematic look at Gibson’s crown jewel, the main Gibson USA Factory in our hometown of Nashville, TN. This landmark series will take viewers on an episodic look at the physical process of how a Gibson guitar is made as well as introduce them to the artisans who hand-craft these beloved instruments. • “THE COLLECTION” – In this series, host Mark Agnesi will take viewers on a deep dive into the extraordinary, personal guitar collections of music’s biggest artists. Watch the first episode of “THE COLLECTION” below.

• “BEHIND THE BOARD” – This “in the studio” series gives both musicians and producers a chance to look back and discuss the recording process in detail of their most ground-breaking and inspired albums.
• “THE SONGBOOK” – This special, acoustic all-performance series showcases stripped down performances shot in beautiful spaces from world renowned artists and up-and- coming musicians.
