Jimmy Buffett has canceled his fall tour due to heath reasons.
Now before you go into mental crisis mode, several of the shows are being rescheduled. Here’s what PubClub.com now knows.
“Due to health issues and brief hospitalization, Jimmy will need to refrain from touring for the rest of the year,” stated a news release issued his publicity team. “On doctor’s orders, he must take this time to recuperate and heal. Jimmy looks forward to getting back onstage next year.”
His FB page and website have posted refund information (see below).
Canceled fall shows are Las Vegas on Oct. 3 and 15, Salt Lake City on Oct. 10; Boise, Idaho on Oct. 12; and San Diego on Oct. 22. The Vegas dates have already be rescheduled to March 4 and 11, respectively. San Diego, at the new Snapdragon Stadium, is also being rescheduled. The Boise and Salt Lake shows have been canceled.
“Hang on to your tickets, as they will be honored at the rescheduled date (TBA),” the news release added. “Ticketmaster will email you as soon as the status of your event changes or the new date is announced.”
Buffett is 75 and will turn 76 in December.
