The Pop Diva’s Fans Prove That Big Public Events Can Be Fun and Peaceful, and Here’s Cheers to Their Good Behavior
A night after a disaster with a rave techno movie premier, something with even more potential for trouble in Hollywood went off without a hitch.
Thanks, Lady Gaga. And Lady Gaga fans.
One evening after Hollywood was overwhelmed – surprised, really – with people turning out to what they thought was free block party that was really a couple of private events around the movie premier of the Electric Daisy Carnival techno music festival, Lady Gaga played at an outdoor stage for a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Fans started lining up in the morning for the show and the passion was obvious by looking at the people singing Gaga songs and dressed up like the hot pop diva. It was a potential recipe for trouble.
But it was no trouble at all. There were about 2,000 people and they were all gone with no issues by 11 p.m.
That’s a tribute to the cool fans who turned out for the event, and local officials and officers who let well-behaved fans be, well, well-behaved fans.
It also shows that big events and peaceful harmony can be one in the same.
Well done everyone!
