Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Peru And Mexico Part Of 14 Concerts
Fresh off a tour that hit Australia, New Zealand and Japan, Ringo Starr is ready to get back on the road again.
He’s just announced 14 shows in Latin and South America starting the end of October. It starts Oct. 29 in Sao Paulo Brazil and also visits Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and Mexico City.
And then if finishes with two shows at the Palms in Las Vegas. Because, hey it’s Vegas!
Starr is touring with his All-Stare Band which features Steve Lukather (Toto), Richard Page (Mr. Mister), Gregg Rolie (Santana), Todd Rundgren, Mark Rivera and Gregg Bissonette will head to Latin America for 14 shows, with two dates in the US, at The Palms in Las Vegas just before Thanksgiving:
• Oct 29: Sao Paulo, Brazil, Credicard Hall
• Oct 31: Curitiba, Brazil, Teatro Positivo
• Nov 2: Punta del Este, Uruguay, Conrad Hotel
• Nov 4: Asuncion, Paraguay, Leon Condou
• Nov 6: Cordoba, Argentina , Orfeo
• Nov 8: Buenos Aires, Argentina, Luna Park
• Nov 11: Lima, Peru , Jockey Club
• Nov 13: Mexico City, Mexico, National Auditorium
• Nov 16: Guadalajara, Mexico, Auditorio Telmex
• Nov 18: Monterrey, Mexico, Auditorio Banamex
• Nov 22 : Las Vegas, The Palms
• Nov 23: Las Vegas , The Palms
The tour’s announcement comes on the heels of the UMe Worldwide DVD release, “Ringo at the Ryman,” a live performance filmed at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Ringo’s birthday July 7, 2012 during Ringo and this current All Starr Band’s summer tour.
UMe has also released a Ringo Starr seven-inch vinyl singles collection, featuring “Photograph,” “It Don’t Come Easy” and “(It’s All Down To) Goodnight Vienna.”
On June 12, The Grammy Museum will launch “Ringo: Peace & Love”, the first major exhibition to focus on a drummer and the first on Ringo.
