Club Explains It’s Position on Situation in Which Planned Movie Premier and Post-Event Party Turns Ugly as LAPD Brings in Riot Police
Here is a statement from supperclub Los Angeles after thousands of people showed up expecting a free block party by DJ Kaskade and created an incident in Hollywood at the premier of the movie “Electric Daisy Carnival Experience” that took place on Wednesday, July 27:
“supperclub los angeles is expressing their sincere gratitude to the Los Angeles Police and Fire Departments for reacting to the thousands of music fans that gathered in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre this evening.
“What was meant to be an exciting event for fans that were unable to get into the movie premiere, turned out to be a series of unfortunate events. supperclub los angeles has much admiration and appreciation for DJ Kaskade and the Electric Daisy Carnival, but they were in no way affiliated or connected with the unfortunate outcome and reaction of the thousands of fans that gathered on Hollywood Boulevard.
“DJ Kaskade decided to spread the love to all his fans and followers by attempting to put on a free show before the Electric Daisy Carnival movie premiere. It was his choice to give back to the community, and wanted nothing but to have a fun, free show for all the fans to enjoy. supperclub los angeles is disappointed to the unfortunate crowd reaction and disturbance caused this evening.”
