Cigar & Spirits Magazine’s Second Annual Golf Classic Featured Stogies & Spirits

With a puff of his stogie, rapper 50 Cent “smoked” the golf course at the Cigar & Spirits Magazine’s second annual Golf Classic, held Nov. 7 at the Talega Golf Club in San Clemente, CA.
During the event, which was open to the public who paid to be a part of it, premium cigars and high-end spirits were be awarded at each hole, along with cigar and spirits pairings throughout the day.
The event concluded with an awards dinner and raffle.
The Second Annual Golf Classic provided players with the opportunity to enjoy three of life’s many men’s lifestyle pleasures: cigars, spirits and golf,. The location was in the scenic hills above San Clemente, Orange County’s “Spanish Village by the Sea.”
Established in 2001, Talega features an 18-hole, par 72 Fred Couples “Signature” championship golf course. It is consistently rate as one of America’s Top golf courses by several experts and publications.

The tournament also kicked off Cigar and Spirits’ annual Holiday Toy Drive, “Toast for Toys Orange County,” which culminates in—no surprise—a cigar and spirits tasting event in December.

There is no word to PubClub.com on how 50 Cent played in the tournament, or how many cigars or how many spirits he had while making the “rounds” at Talega Golf Club. It can be assumed, tho, that he “smoked” the golf course and the event, regardless of what he put on his scorecard.
