Products Currently Sold Only In Late Singer’s Nashville Country Music Museum
George Jones White Lightening Moonshine, along with George Jones Vodka, are seeking a distribution partner to expend production.
“With the tremendous success of the spirits line, the George Jones biographical film ‘No Show Jones’ slated for release in 2016, and the growing demand for the product and interest of many to buy the spirits line, plans are underway to choose the right partner to create an international footprint,” the company said in a press release.
Management has selected the Investment Bank, R.L. Hulett & Co., to help in their search for a strategic partner with the capabilities and distribution network to properly scale the brand.
The brands bear the name of the late and highly popular country music singer George Jones, and was started by his widow Nancy.
“George always wanted to own his own brand of whiskey,” she said. “This was one of the promises I made to him before he died, that I’d make that dream come true.”
Soon after its launch, the moonshine won taste test awards. The brands are currently sold only in the George Jones Museum in Nashville, TN.
