Recipe That Includes Carrot Juice Will Get You Hopping To The Bar
The Easter bunny may bring chocolate and colored eggs to your house, but Ron Barcelo rum believes there is another bunny out there for the adults.
And for them, it has created the El Conejo Bueno, a cocktail involving its anejo rum from the Dominican Republic and carrot juice. Translated, it means “good bunny,” and have a couple of these on Easter Weekend and you’ll be hopping back to the bar.
Easter Sunday 2019 is on April 21.
The ingredients are Ron Barceló Añejo, fresh carrot juice, chickpea (garbanzo) water, sugar, and a dash of salt water.
Here is the recipe:
El Conejo Bueno
• 2 oz Ron Barceló Gran Añejo
• 1 oz fresh carrot juice
• .5 oz chickpea (garbanzo) water
• .75 oz sugar
• Dropper full of salt water
Add all ingredients in shaker over rocks. Shake vigorously and strain in glass. Garnish with a slice of carrot.
Don’t turn yourself into a “bad bunny,” tho. Remember, it’s Easter.
