Experiencing The ‘Time Warp’ On A Plane: I Didn’t Know Delta Was So Cool

Little did I know that when I stepped onto a Delta Air Lines flight that I would also be stepping into the Forbidden Planet.
One of the in-flight entertainment options is the 1975 cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I didn’t know Delta was so cool!
There’s no throwing toast and rice, no doing the “Time Warp” in the aisle and no yelling out lines like “Meatloaf again,””great Scott” and, especially, “beat me Janet!”
But the entire un-cut movie is there for the viewing on the seatback in front of you, under Musicals.
At first, I found this hard to believe. My first reaction was “naaa.”
Surely the airline, with parents and kids on the plane, would not allow such a provocative movie that features people dressed in drag outfits and the very sexy body of Susan Sarandon spending half the time in her underwear on its flights.
But it does and I throughly enjoyed watching it.

I did have to refrain from yelling out the audience participation lines scattered throughout the movie and getting out of my seat to do the pelvic thrust, although I could not help but belting out a couple of laughs at the lines and silliness of the this science fiction double feature.
It’s so dreamy. Oh, fantasy free me!
Get spaced out on sensation. Like you’re was under sedation.
It’s astounding! Madness takes its toll!
It is also very entertaining in-flight entertainment from Delta Air Lines.
