‘Blue Lagoon’ On Fiji Available For A Resort Buyout

The “Blue Lagoon” in Fiji, featured in the movie of the same name, can be yours all to yourself. For a price, of course.
One of the trends happening now in travel – among the rich, anyway – is something called a resort buyout. And Yasawa Island Resort & Spa on the island where the teenage Brooke Shields made the movie, is available for a private rental.
The price: $14,000 (USD) a night. With a three-night minimum.
Now before you fall back out of your beach chair, it is important to note that the price is for up to 38 people. So if you can gather a group of fun-loving friends and split it, the per-person cost becomes $368 a night. From a resort standpoint, that’s not too bad. It does not include airfare, of course, and Fiji government taxes.
And BYOB, or buy your booze on site, for alcoholic beverages are not included, either.
Still, if you want a place all to yourself, this may be the place. It is located in the lush Yasawa group of Islands off the coast of main Island of Viti Levu in the Yasawa group of islands, which includes the famous Blue Lagoon caves.
Here’s what you do get for your 14K:
