Here’s where I want to go and what I want to do in 2025.
If the world were wide open to me, these are the places and events where I would party, for they are part of my all-time Bucket List.
Some places I have already been to and want to go to again, while some others are top party targets. The bucket list move would be to go to all these destinations in the same year.
1.) MYKONOS/SANTORINI
These are two of my favorite places on Earth. I’ve not been to either in about five years and that’s five years too long. Mykonos is one of the World’s Great Party Places and Santorini is where you go to give the planet a piece of your soul. There are a few places in Santorini where I have left pieces of my heart and I WILL get back there soon. And when I do, I will have life “moments.” And, of course, I’ll also party like crazy in Mykonos and on the appropriately named Paradise Beach.
2.) ST. MORITZ
All us guys want, at some point in our life, to be James Bond. And there’s something very James Bond-ish about St. Moritz, the elegant ski resort in Switzerland. To go there would fulfill a dream when I was young enough to dream about going to exotic places around the world.
3.) ST. PATRICK’S DAY IN SAVANNAH, GA.

This would be returning to my roots of sorts, for one of my first jobs out of college was working for the newspaper in Savannah. So I’ve seen St. Patrick’s Day up close and want to experience it again (and when I don’t have to work the next day). There are more than 300,000 people in town for St. Paddy’s Day, there’s a huge parade and then a shoulder-t0-shoulder celebration on River Street.
4.) AMSTERDAM
My first trip to Amsterdam was a two-day stop-over on the way to Greece. Well, I went WAY out of my way to make it a stop-over, but the point is, I was in Amsterdam. I got off the train, was met by friends, immediately threw the bags on the bed and went out for beers. We didn’t return to the hotel, which was on Damrak, until the wee hours of the morning. And that’s pretty much how my time in Amsterdam was spent. I went back to the city few times and even wound up shacking up with a local gal during one of my stays, which caused some tense moments because I obviously misinterpreted the Dutch attitude toward sex. Apparently, it’s a bit less casual than I had been led to believe because when I responded to advances by one of the gal’s friends, I found myself locked out of the house.
Here’s my column on my observations of Amsterdam.

5.) AUSTRIA’S SKI RESORTS
There’s a place called St. Anton that is on my career party bucket list. From what I’ve been told, the party-to-ski ratio is something like 2-to-1. Plus, it’s Austria and beautiful. And I’ve always wanted to go to Vienna. It sounds so old-country romantic.
6.) AUSTRALIA

Being in this country and partying with the Aussies is always fun!
7.) NEW YORK CITY
It’s been long – too long – since I’ve been to the Big Apple. One of my funniest experiences there was ordering iced tea during an afternoon media event in which I was involved at Mickey Mantle’s, only to be handed a “mickey” – a Long Island Tea! My friend, who now lives in Prague and showed me around that city, had pulled the prank. At first, I was angry with him, but after a couple of sips, I was quite pleased with him. And then the PR agency for the event got my car towed and I spent the rest of the afternoon tracking it down, a process so difficult and frustrating it was once featured on the CBS Show 48 Hours. I look forward to a more pleasant experience in my next visit. From what I’m told, I may never make it out of a place called The Irish Bar.

8.) NEWPORT, R.I.
Check this out – it’s PubClub.com’s guide to the bars in Newport. It was written by a friend who lives there and after reading it, I want to go and party in Newport!
9.) COLLEGE CAMPUSES & TAILGATE PARTIES

This one may be realized in the fall. The Grove is the tailgate area for Ole Miss football games. It’s one of the great tailgate scenes in all of America. A similar scene takes place every fall weekend on college campuses across the country and any one of them is a must-do for any true fan of fun times.
10.) NEW ORLEANS

There’s Mardi Gras, Pardi Grad, Quarter Fest, Jazz Fest and just the all-the-time good, fun times of New Orleans where the theme is “laisse les bons moments rouler.” Which means “let the good times roll.” And they do in the Big Easy.
Now you know where to go on your party holiday!
i was planning a holiday, ur blog gave me god travel as well as party options.
