Getting from the airport to your hotel can either be a breeze or one of the biggest pains of travel. It really depends on the city and its transportation options.
There is public transportation, taxis are making a comeback and Lyft and Uber, of course. Another is GO Airport Shuttle and it has at least one advantage over the other rideshare companies: it has no surge pricing. There are vehicles at the airports, passengers can book online, by phone or on its app. Prices are pretty good, too: New York City is offering services at a base rate of $29 and Las Vegas and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. have rates as low as $15. GO serves four airports in Hawaii, Honolulu, Kailua Kona, Kauai, and Maui, with fares starting at just $20. Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic offers shared rides running on a fixed line schedule between Punta Cana International Airport and local accommodations for only $14.
It is at airports in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
GO is a consortium of independent operators, so they may have different rules at varying sites regarding booking lead time and fares.
“As air travel continues to surge this spring season, GO Airport Shuttle is committed to offering the best travel experience by providing fixed, low rates for shared rides to and from the airport, ensuring that travelers can manage their budgets without any surprises,” says John McCarthy, president, The GO Group, LLC, GO Airport Shuttle’s parent company.
It’s website is: GO Airport Shuttle.
