Pub Crawl Trips To Consider Taking

May 23, 2023 by kevinwilkerson Leave a Comment

Pub crawls are one of the most popular types of trips for young adults because they combine fun music, good drinks, and a way to spend time with your friends. If you’re in college, you may be looking for ways to enjoy as many as you can before you graduate and enter the real world. Luckily, there are plenty across the country to choose from, so no matter where you are dreaming of traveling, there will be a place for you.

Getting Ready for Your Trip

Vacations aren’t cheap, and that’s especially true if you are looking to enjoy a few drinks along the way. Even if you’re a broke college student, however, there are still plenty of ways to save for your vacation. Managing your budget allows you to save a little each month to put toward the trip. If you are preparing to manage this for the first time, getting a credit card is a great option to build healthy spending habits. A credit card can help you build credit, and it allows you to pay for any part of the trip you aren’t able to save up for.

The Pirate Pub Crawl in Anchorage, Alaska

If you are interested in supporting a good cause, you’ll enjoy Anchorage’s annual pirate themed event. While it allows you to go all out in full pirate gear, it is also a chance for you to help the Blood Bank of Alaska. During the event, attendees enjoy treasure hunting and drinking their favorite beverages in Downtown Anchorage’s bars. It begins around 7 in the evening and goes late into the night. You’ll receive a Treasure Crawl Map to fill out as you stop at the various location. Those who have the most stamps on their maps can enter a giveaway to win a prize.

The Boston Freedom Trail Pub Crawl

If you are a history buff, Boston is a great place to visit. The pub crawl gives you a chance to enjoy delicious drinks while exploring historic streets. The guide wears 18th century attire while taking you on a walk through the past. You will visit places like the Green Dragon, Union Oyster House, and the Bell in Hand. It’s about an hour and a half long, and you’ll enjoy some light snacks along the way.

The Nashville Music City Crawl

Whether you are a fan of Tennessee culture or just love music, you’ll enjoy the Music City Pub Crawl. Nashville is known as the music capital of the country, but it is not cheap, and if you follow any budget travel hacks, you know that taking organized tours can help you see plenty without spending a lot. If you are in town, taking a tour should be part of your trip. The tour is a little over two hours long, and the stops are close enough together that you can walk it. The crawl lets you look at the history of the city, and there are drinks available at every stop. You’ll usually want to take this with about six to 15 other individuals so you can have a guide dedicated to your group.

The Wizard Pub Crawl in Various Cities in the US

The Wizard crawl has been happening for several years, and you can do it in one of several cities in the country. You’ll receive a wristband in your Hogwarts House’s color, a wand box, and a special wand. The drinks are themed to match the event. There are DJs at the bars to get the party started, and at the end of the event, you will receive a certificate for completing it. If you are a Harry Potter fan, this is the tour for you.

The Saint Patrick’s Day Crawl in Cleveland

Saint Patrick’s Day is a big drinking occasion around the world, so it makes sense that you can choose from a lot of different pub crawls. Cleveland goes all out for this holiday, and there is even a parade in the city. Everyone shows up wearing their favorite Irish attire, and the day often starts at 6 in the morning, lasting until late in the evening. You may be able to find deals on good drinks so you can enjoy even more. Depending on your school, the holiday may fall during spring break, so you might be able to travel there during that time.
