Sydney, Surfer’s Paradise, V8 Supercars Race, Byron Bay And Wine Festival On The Itinerary

If it’s not the trip of a lifetime, it’s the opportunity of a lifetime.
I’m headed to Oz – for a month! – a place I’ve always wanted to visit, and now it’s becoming a reality.
Why Australia? Well, it has fun people – people who love beer and like to party, have a zest for life and seem carefree about everything – beaches and beautiful girls.
The language and signage is in English, and that takes away one challenge for a traveling American. It’ s England with a suntan.
Here’s my schedule. Keeping in mind that I’m mentally flexible enough to go with the flow.
I’m going to spend two days in Sydney, then join the Miss Grand Prix girls team for the V8 Supercars in Australia! Gotta thank my mate Rosko for that one. So that’s a week of being on the go with events as they choose the winner among 50 girls. Oh, and there’s a car race, too.
From there, it’s a few quiet – but hopefully not too quiet – days in Byron Bay, which I hear is one of the most gorgeous places in all of Australia.
Then I’ll meet another mate in Brisbane, and she will show me around that city and take me to a wine festival. Is that cool or what!?
The trip will end with 10 days in Sydney where I’ll meet up with two local mates who will show me their bars from a local’s perspective. Oh, I’ll be above a pub!
