Both titles, Warframe and Destiny, are likely two brothers that were raised in a challenging environment where Destiny was given the expensive treatment in lush environment because it was cute, handsome, and all people liked the ideas. On other hands, Warframe wasn’t so cute and was clumsy, so people ignored him. However, both brothers are matured by now, and they have become successful adults. Within a short-period, Destiny has turned into Destiny 2, while Warframe still remains Warframe.

Undoubtedly, the release of Destiny 2 was successful, with the massively anticipated sequel of Bungie breaking all records and become the best-selling game of the year 2017 at the time of its release. Amidst reports of quickly declining the player base, there was a controversy stirred up by loot boxes. However, in Destiny 2, loot boxes are known as Bright Engrams, and they contain cosmetic item like armor shaders, ships, weapon skins, and gear mods, which would be more problem if they had a discernible effect on the gameplay.
During the game, you can purchase these Bright Engrams using the real world currency or unlock them by earning experience Levels after colliding with a soft cap. Add to this Destiny issue there wasn’t awful enough to do at the end of the game. After that, the game eliminated twenty repeatable missions, while its sequel Destiny 2 was released with measly 5, leaving many to surprise why, with the same framework, the developer couldn’t have included the content of Destiny 2 into Destiny 1 following the similar manner to a Massively Multiplayer Online.
The Universe
To be honest, the actual storylines of both titles Destiny and Warframe aren’t all that different. Both releases take place in distance future and introduce specially assembled forces defending the huge galaxy from an ancient alien race, both titles are containing their versions of space, and both have a strange vendor who will appear to sell valuable goods.
Currently, Destiny 2 contains five semi-open world environments to navigate; on another hand, Warframe has fifteen to explore. Yes, these environments have been included to games over time, but even with Destiny 1, the universe would still comprise ten main locations. However, the semi-open world nature makes up for it somehow, but the bite-sized mission structure of Warframe means small areas that look pretty. Asides this, the Plains of Eidolon expansion included the first open area in Warframe, enabling bounty hunting and exploration from the central hub. Now, it looks awesome, too.
All expansions and items are free in Warframe. You can’t pay anything to unlock worlds, except Warframe Platinum (in-game currency) or fast track your progress. During the gameplay, you can play challenging mission modes to unlock paths leads you to junctions, the conduits between worlds. However, the campaign does a good job of carrying you down the main path, but there are several repeatable missions on each world.
The Action
In Destiny 2, the action is quite satisfying, and the feedback from the weapons is cool, the loot, loop of kills and XP are almost perfect when you’re in movement. However, the movement is a slick battle is eighty and rewarding.
On other hands, Warframe has a pile of mission types that you can play in randomly generated maps. The battle is frenetic and wild, but when you discover the rhythm, the instant switch from melee to range seems incredible empowering. Empowerment is in the midst of Warframe, and while the difficulty balance can sway as an outcome, it’ still addictive as hell.
Transactions
It is interesting to know how both games deal with real-world money, too. Destiny introduces Silver (in-game currency), and Warframe has Platinum. The major difference between these two titles is how each developer respects your hard-earned money. For once, you have an option to earn approximately everything in Destiny 2 by leveling up your character to collect Bright Engrams, which means Destiny 2 is charging players for higher chance to make that item.
Conversely, Platinum (in-game currency) of Warframe can be used for lots of things. Using Platinum, you can speed up Foundry Projects, purchase crafting materials, unlock cosmetic augmentations, and more. Similar to other Co-op games, it doesn’t offer pay-to-win model, but you can’t unlock things like armor shaders or clocks without Platinum. It seems you have no chance but to pay to items, right?
