Where The World Goes To Party!

Zodiac Compatibility And How To Use It As A Guide To Your Dating

August 3, 2019 by kevinwilkerson Leave a Comment

When we are young, everything is an adventure, especially dating. We let our libidos lead us into situations that common sense would have guided us away from. We deal with personality traits that irk us and continue in relationships hoping the other person will change. Though there is always room for improvement, some characteristics are inherent to that person because they are encoded into their being. So, now that we have accepted that as fact, how to use it in our dating lives?

Element Compatibility

Each of the 12 zodiac signs is ascribed an element (fire, earth, air, or water), and each of the elements includes three zodiac signs. Naturally, you will be attracted to others of the same element because you share certain similarities. You may even find that some of your closest friends are in the same elemental group as you. Fire signs, which are the Aries, Leos, and Sagittariuses of the zodiac, are known for their fiery personalities. These people love to party. And, they don’t need alcohol or drugs to have a good time or to tell the truth. Sometimes they can come across as abrasive or insensitive.

However, to them, others’ emotions come secondary to their authenticity. Water signs may be easily offended by such harshness. Though they can appreciate the honesty that comes with fire, water signs are very sensitive beings. They are more in tune with their emotions than any other element. Geminis, Aquarians, and Libras are the air signs of the zodiac and arguably the least in touch with their emotions. As air indicates, they are consumed with thoughts and ideas. Where the fire signs have no problem engaging in physical conflict, air signs will never back down from a debate. Intellectual conversations are what jump-start their sex drive and will be needed to sustain a long-term relationship. Earth signs are the most practical people around. They strive for strong foundations, sustainability, order, and structure.

Like in nature, certain element pairings are complimentary. The earth needs water to keep its vegetation alive and continue the life cycle. In the same vane, a water sign can help an earth sign see that there is more to life than working hard and paying bills. They need to enjoy the fruits of their labor. A Pisces can see the beauty in a flower garden, whereas a Virgo will calculate the time and money spent to produce such a sight. When they come together, however, there is a balance.

The same is true for air and fire signs. One cannot function without the other. Air signs are masters of the mind, yet tend to get stuck there. On the other hand, fire signs can be impulsive and always willing to get things started. A Gemini can concoct the most ingenious plan to live happily ever after, but the Sagittarius will be the one to light the fire under them to do it. And what happens when a fire has no oxygen? It fizzles out.

Sometimes, however, contradictory elements, like water and fire, can also make for a solid relationship. A lot depends on the actual zodiac sign. For example, a Leo and a Scorpio may not seem like a good idea on the surface. One loves being the center of attention, while the other is cloaked in mystery. Yet, the Scorpio and Leo love compatibility is quite good. Both are intense signs, they just express it differently. Scorpios internalize their passion and channel it through profound emotions, while Leos exude the epitome of confidence. There is no doubt that these two will connect on a sexual level. Yet, sex is more than just a physical act for Scorpios. They use it to fuse with their partners. It is, in essence, the physical manifestation of their spiritual bond. This is something that the Leo can appreciate. Even so, with such intensity there has to be room for compromise; something neither sign is too keen on doing. Power struggles can arise, but with proper communication, it can be resolved painlessly. And the make-up sex will be nothing less than spectacular.

Sister Sign CompatibilityWe have all heard that opposites attract and for good reason. The sign opposite yours in the zodiac is known as your “sister sign”. More often than not, these pairings seem to work rather well. Take for example sister signs Cancer and Capricorn. Cancer, a water sign, is considered the most maternal of the zodiac signs, and Capricorn, an earth sign, is the epitome of fatherhood. Both are fixed signs, which give them leadership qualities. Though one is centered in emotion and the other in practicality, together they form the ideal power couple.

Using the zodiac as a tool for compatibility is quite useful. People are who they are, and the cosmos never lie.
