This is the week. The Cowboys get the W.

And if they can’t beat the Giants, well, the shine is really off the star in Big D.

Here are my picks for the NFL’s Week 5 games and why I picked these winners and losers. Just don’t to to Vegas with any of these predictions!

Game# Visitor Home Your Pick Conf. Pts
1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Chicago Bears TAM (visitor) 4
2 Carolina Panthers Atlanta Falcons CAR (visitor) 3
3 Cincinnati Bengals Baltimore Ravens BAL (home) 14
4 Jacksonville Jaguars Houston Texans HTX (home) 1
5 Las Vegas Raiders Kansas City Chiefs KC (home) 15
6 Denver Broncos New England Patriots NE (home) 11
7 Arizona Cardinals New York Jets ARZ (visitor) 6
8 Philadelphia Eagles Pittsburgh Steelers PIT (home) 8
9 Buffalo Bills Tennessee Titans BUF (visitor) 5
10 Los Angeles Rams Washington Fb Team LA (visitor) 10
11 Miami Dolphins San Francisco 49ers SF (home) 9
12 Indianapolis Colts Cleveland Browns CLE (home) 7
13 New York Giants Dallas Cowboys DAL (home) 12
14 Minnesota Vikings Seattle Seahawks SEA (home) 13
15 Los Angeles Chargers New Orleans Saints NO (home) 2

Tampa Bay at Chicago. Tom Brady vs. THAT offense? Please. Even if Nick Foles is the quarterback.

Carolina at Atlanta. Why don’t the Falcons just throw the ball to Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley and hand the ball off to Todd Gurley. Because Matt Ryan can’t get those receivers the ball? If they at least try then all the SEC fans in the Atlanta area will cheer for the team.

Jacksonville at Houston. Teams usually win the week after the coach gets fired.

Las Vegas at Kansas City. Mismatch. The Raiders methodically move the ball down the field while the Chiefs own it.

Denver at New England. Even with the backup Auburn quarterback in the game, this team is way better than the Broncos.

Arizona at the New York Jets. The Jets are a mess. Joe Flacco may actually help them as he’s starting this week. Still, not a lot of confidence in the Cardinals – and Kliff Kinsbury – either.

Philadelphia at Pittsburg. I have no confidence in the Eagles, their offense and Carson Wentz in particular. Plus, the Steelers are the more polished team.

Buffalo at Tennessee. The Bills are not good enough to win five in a row, but the Titans are distracted by COVID-19 issues. Heck the Titans may even be forced to forfeit this game for breaking the NFL’s COVID protocols.

LA Rams at Washington. The offensively-challenged Rams – Jared Goff is proving to be little more than a mediocre quarterback, which I predicted when he came out of college – are better than the everything-challenged team without a nickname.

Miami at San Francisco. The 49ers are hurting at quarterback and the Dolphins Head Coach Brian Flores won’t play Tua.

Indianapolis at Cleveland. The Browns may go on a bit of a roll after beating – and beating back – Dallas. Which for Cleveland it winning two in a row.

New York Giants at Dallas. Now Cowboys, you outweigh the Giants in talent the equivalent of a sumo wrestler to a hummingbird. Play like it. From the start and not just starting in the second half.

Minnesota at Seattle. It’s tough to pick an NFL team to win five in a row. But even tougher to pick the Vikings over the Seahawks.

LA Chargers at New Orleans. I am losing confidence n the Saints and gaining it in the Chargers with quarterback Justin Herbert.
