Jets Overtake Giants To Lead The 10 Most Awful Teams In The League

The heck with ranking the NFL’s best teams. It’s way more fun to look at the terrible ones. And here is PubClub.com’s power(less) rankings of the NFL’s worst teams.
1.) New York Jets. The Jets are so bad they made the Colts look like Super Bowl contenders and their punter is maybe their best player.
2.) That Washington Team. This team has drafted great on defense and still can’t stop anybody.
3.) Jacksonville Jaguars. Any team that loses to the Dolphins has to be on this list.
4.) Miami Dolphins. The team actually showed some competence in whipping the Jaguars. Then, of course, returned to form the following week.
5.) New York Giants. This team actually showed some competitiveness in Week 4. That was a change from the previous three weeks.
6.) Houston Texans. What, you guys can’t even beat the Vikings?
7.) Dallas Cowboys. If this article were titled “NFL’s Worst First Half Teams,” the Cowboys would be ahead of even the Jets. Instead, they have to settle for the #7 spot.
8.) Atlanta Falcons. How does a team with Julio Jones AND Calvin Ridley lose so often? Sure, Matt Ryan is prone to the timely interception but this is a talented team that doesn’t have confidence in its coach.
9.) Philadelphia Eagles. A pathetic offensive team, the Eagles would be one of the NFL’s best teams had they kept Nick Foles and dumped Carson Wentz.
10.) Detroit Lions. This team hasn’t been any good since Alex Karras did his famous fart scene in the movie Blazing Saddles.
11.) Minnesota Vikings. When the offense is clicking the defense can’t stop anyone. When the defense is making stops, the offense can’t make a first down.
12.) Former San Diego And Current Los Angeles Chargers. They fumbled away – literally – a game-winning play against Carolina that would have kept them off this list. Instead, they executed it like the Keystone Cops. Then they did it the next week against Tampa Bay. This best describes the Chargers.
13.) Phoenix Cardinals. Any team that loses to the Lions deserves to be on this list.
14.) Chicago Bears. Nick Foles saved the day once but this team is so bad he couldn’t do it a second time, even as the starter. Head Coach Mike Nagy seems to be in over his head.
Off The List Of NFL’s Worst Teams (For Now)
• Cleveland Browns. Was that a one-game explosion against the Cowboys or the Boys just being asleep at the wheel? Most likely the latter but it pulls the Browns out of the “worst teams” list.
• Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow gives this team a chance. Until he gets injured (he’s been knocked down 18 times the last two games).
Closing In On The NFL’s Worst Teams List
• Denver Broncos. This team isn’t necessarily horrible. It just has no offense. Rookie wide receiver Jerry Jeudy does tho, provide it with potential for excitement.
