
The three-day event is Oct. 20-22 with Queen + Adam Lambert taking the stage on Saturday night at the Germania Insurance Super Stage post-race events after the inaugural F1 Sprint Race at COTA.
Formed in 1970, Queen boasts some of the most recognizable hits in music history, among them “We Are the Champions,” “We Will Rock You,” “Under Pressure,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” and “Don’t Stop Me Now.” Original Queen band members Brian May and Roger Taylor join Lambert on stage in Austin.
Having extensively toured over the last few years, the band’s current acclaimed Rhapsody Tour show with Adam Lambert is forever evolving, but remains at heart a nod to Freddie Mercury’s majestic legacy, a confirmation of Brian May’s and Roger Taylor’s musical prowess, plus a showcase for Lambert’s vocal skills and stage charisma.
On Friday, multi-platinum rock band The Killers will play the concert.
Since 2003, The Killers, a Las Vegas-based four-piece have received countless accolades for their artistic achievement, including multiple Grammy nominations, American Music Award nominations, MTV Video Music Awards, NME Awards and more. The band, who has sold more than twenty-five million albums worldwide, and headlined all the world’s top festivals (Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury), has release eight albums in total with multiple hits living on the Billboard Top 200.
