There’s Dancing, Tho Not Drinking, At Downtown Club

Not all bars in Los Angeles close at the very-uncool hour of 2 a.m.
Exchange L.A., the mega dance club in downtown Los Angeles, is now open until 4 in the morning on Saturday nights.
It’s called “Extended Hours Inception Saturdays” and it addresses one of the PubClub.com blogger’s chief complaints about Los Angeles nightlife: The bars close too early! You call yourself a hip city when it’s “chairs up” at the time real worldly cities like New York and Barcelona are just hitting their stride? This is a starting point to start addressing that issue.
The ‘Extended Hours’ portion of Inception Saturdays (3 a.m. – 6 a.m.) features Techno, Tech House & Deep House from top local and international dance music artists. Of course, there’s no alcohol served during this time, because not all cool hurdles have been cleared (nor are they to be any time in the near future). But you can dance until, perhaps, you drop.
“We are excited to pilot our new hours of operation in conjunction with Insomniac’s Saturday night event series Inception. People can count on the music to be top notch from beginning to end” said Dominic Saldana, marketing director of Exchange LA.
The launch of Exchange LA’s “Extended Hours” features a four-hour headlining set from world-renowned DJ/producer Victor Calderone, with opening and closing sets by Tara Brooks and Steve Prior.
Exchange LA is part of dance music event producer Insomniac, which also puts on the wildly successful Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. That’s proof they know what they are doing, and that you’ll have a good time.
Cheers!
