Bars, Pubs & Clubs A Big Part Of Making Life After Dark So Fun

Break up the word into two pieces and reverse them and you have a simple explanation of nightlife: life and night.
Simple, right? life at night.
Yes, but it’s what makes life at night that provides the true definition of nightlife.
The term nightlife refers to any activity that happens in the evening and is largely reserved for adult activities. More specifically, it is anything to do with bars, pubs and clubs. PubClub.com extends this to include concerts, festivals and any other activity which involves partying and consuming alcoholic beverages.
So when we write that “San Diego has very good nightlife,” for example, we include events like ComicCon as well as a couple events that are really in the daytime but have many nightlife elements (lots of drinking and great socializing) such as Del Mar Opening Day and the Over The Line beach party.
Primarily, tho, it’s all about what happens in the bars, pubs and clubs of the world after dark. And some places are better for nightlife than others because they have more bars, pubs and clubs.
The more nightlife venues a location has, generally the better nightlife it has, too. Usually major cities – in particular European cities like Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin and London – have sensational nightlife, in large part because of the number of late-night clubs.
But nightlife runs far beyond those places and others around the globe, for nightlife also runs the gamut from live music venues to rocking beach bars.
