It’s Prime Party Time Again In The Golden State As PubClubbers Return With No Restrictions

The lights are back on, the doors are open again and there are no restrictions on 25% capacity, social distance spacing, being seated and moving around a place to meet and mingle.
Now that California is fully open, here’s what it means for bars and nightlife in the state.
The first thing it means for the bars is that they can be profitable again. Many were barely hanging on during the shutdowns and several others did not survive at all.
What is means for employees – servers, bartenders, cooks/chefs, security – is a job. Servers and bartenders in particular will especially benefit, for more customers means more tips.
What is means for musicians is that they can be back on stage, so look for a resurgence of bands and live music in bars. The same holds true with DJs and music.
What it means for PubClubbbers is relief.
People will be relieved that they can actually go out again, go to a bar or club again, that they don’t have to wait in a long line only to walk into a place that’s 75% empty, that they can walk around and talk to other people without having to be glued to chair at a table (this is especially important to single people) and that they can dance and sing again.
In other words, people get to party again!
This has been the big missing element during the COVID-19 pandemic.
And just when it seemed things would get back to normal, there was another shutdown.
California’s bar closures were also widely varied depending on the city or region. Los Angeles County was very strict while Orange County just to the south thumbed its nose as restrictions. San Francisco was different than what was happening in San Diego.
In fact, the bar pretty much stripped off the masks and space requirements when vaccines got into the arms of people (more than three million to date) and the CDC stated that masks are no longer needed for those who have the vaccines. The past month, bars have been operating at pretty much full capacity.
Now that California is fully open its provides consistency throughout the state from one city to another.
So PubClubbers, get out there and party again.
