Everything is bigger in Texas. Except for your bar tab with beers costing $3 and $4 on Sixth Street, a place so packed with the nightlife – including live music – that it takes quite a bit of discipline to do classes over glasses of drinks during certain times of the day. Not only that, but there are lakes, boat tie-up parties, bars on the lakes including the Oasis, or the OH-a-sis as Garth Brooks has some friends in low places.
In fact, Texas has held the #1 position ever since PubClub.com started ranking the Top Party Schools several years ago. It is important to note, however, that it could well be replaced by the #2 party school after PubClub.com spends the Third Saturday of October on campus in Tuscaloosa, AL. And Ohio State could jump up in the rankings based on what Columbus-based PubClub photographer Uber Jack says about the place.
Naturally, pretty much any college can be considered a party school. Campuses are filled with people away from their parents for the first time, there are social events, frat and sorority parties, bars and a student body that is constantly in search of other students’ bodies. So getting it down to a Top 10 list of top party schools is not easy but we have done it and here are the other nine in the PubClub rankings.

2.) Alabama. This ranking has a lot more to do with Bama sorority show; T-town is a college town that knows how to party!
3.) Ole Miss. The Grove pregame tailgate party is the best in the country.
4.) Wisconsin. It has State Street with enough bars to keep people warm on those cold days and nights.
5.) UCSB. Students and alumni joke that the letters stand for U Can Study Buzzed.
6.) LSU. It’s New Orleans on a college campus and the good times do indeed roll at the Red Baton.
7.) Ohio State. There’s not just OSU but Dennison College there, too, so the party scene is plus-one!
8.) Arizona State. The football games are just an excuse to party (no getting mad if the home team loses here) before a big night out on Mill Ave.
9.) USC. The alumni, who party well beyond their college days, are what puts USC in the PubClub top 10 list.
10.) Florida. The Chompers really chomp down on the party scene, especially with legendary bars like the Salty Dog Saloon in Gainesville.
And oh, so many more, from little schools like East Carolina to SUNY College, north to south to east to west. Heck, all of America is one big party school!
