The Moorings Interline Regatta is two things. One is a sailboat race among competitive skippers and crew and the other is an island-hopping party with people romping through the bars of the British Virgin Islands.
The first part is primarily for employees of airlines from around the world and the second is for anyone wh forks over a couple thousand dollars to be part of a rented catamaran who skip the regatta part and just take part in the nightly theme parties, commonly called the “party cats.”
Usually, the “party cats” at the racers all converge on the same places at the end of the day for one big party. There’s always a theme – Gilligan’s Island, Carnival, toga, pirates – and they are hosted at bars on the various BVIs islands.
But this year things are a bit different, as the “party cats” are breaking off on their own. With that in mind, here are the 2025 dates for the BVI’s Interline Regatta and the schedule for those on the rented catamarans. After all, you don’t “gotta regatta” as the saying there goes, but you do “gotta party” while you’re there.

Sail to Anegada Island
– Cow Wreck Beach all afternoon and as long as you want into the evening (Neon Day & Night Beach Party)
• Oct 20th – Monday
Virgin Gorda Island
– Saba Rock
(Pirate Party)
• Oct 21st – Tuesday
Peter Island
– Oceans 7 – Mardi Gras Party w Regatta
• Oct 22nd – Wednesday
Jost van Dyke – Great Harbour –
Soggy Dollar, Gertrudes, Hindo’s, & Beach Day
Foxy’s Margaritaville Party w the Regatta
