Win A Swiss Trip By Submitting A Story

There are many reasons to be in love with Switzerland – Swiss wines and cheeses come immediately to mind – and here’s another one:
Submit a story to the tourism board’s website and win a trip to the country.
“Upload your story now with either an image or video (or text only),” the website states. “We will pick 3 great stories and send the winners back to exactly the same spot they first fell in love with Switzerland!”

Even if you don’t submit a story – or have yet to go to Switzerland – then use the hashtag “InLoveWithSwitzerland for all your social media posts, past, present and future.
Now is where a good travel blog will tell you things to do that you might enjoy and help you to fall in love with Switzerland. So here’s some of PubClub.com’s top suggestions:
• Get A Swiss Travel System Pass And Explore The Country
Switzerland is a small country and its efficient train system can get you from one destination to another in one, two or no more than three hours. You can wake up in the Alps, do some skiing or hiking and be in a city such as Zurich for dinner.
• Go To The Wine Country

Switzerland not only has wine, it has wineries and wine countries. One place is a series of villages outside of Lausanne sitting on hills spilling into Lake Geneva. You can get there by train or even by boat. You can even put a bike on the train and ride from winery to winery.

• Experience The Outdoors
Whether or not you go skiing, hiking, bike riding or something a little more daredevil-ish like white water rafting or bungee jumping, be sure and do it, for Switzerland is a great place to be active and be outdoors.
• Experience The Cities
Swiss cities are not big, clogged metropolitan areas. Rather, they are very pleasant places that are easy to get around; you can walk in many areas and tram service is excellent. They have a great mix of modern areas and old sections.
You can even go swimming in their rivers and lakes.
• Don’t Be In Too Big Of A Hurry To Do Everything; You’ll Be Back!
Do like the Swiss do and slow down, enjoy things as you experience them and don’t be in such a big hurry to go someplace else that you don’t enjoy where you are at the moment.
Once you experience Switzerland, then you’ll be sure and make it a point to go back there again in your travels.
