Decom Features 7 Stages Run By Popular Burning Man Camps
Here are the full details. Decom is the oldest and largest official event associated with Burning Man in Los Angeles.
The location is the newly-renovated L.A. State Historic Park, and the hours are 1-11 p.m.
his annual festival gathers “Burners” (adventurers who have attended the famed Burning Man event), each year to “decompress” after their trip to the desert and celebrate the creativity shared in the desert with their LA friends. For many who have not attended Burning Black Rock City Man in Nevada, Decom (as it is known) has become an exciting opportunity to be a part of this legendary experience.
The Seven Stages
1) Art Car Bus Stop
This well-known burning man camp will have DJs playing Electronic Music. Art Car Bus Stop” is a Los Angeles and Denver based group of Artists, DJs, Entertainment Industry Professionals, and all around good people deeply involved in Burning Man, desert renegade, and Los Angeles EDM underground culture.

2) Camp of Misfit Toys
Your favorite elves are back to drop a little Holiday cheer before heading North for the season. If doesn’t matter if you’ve been naughty or nice, the Camp of Misfit Toys just wants to make you groove. Santa will be there joined by DJ Shaggy and several other incredible musical sprites!

A famous burning man group since 2001, Disorient is building an innovative electronic dance music environment with visual and performance art, the Burning Man way.

4) The Living Room
This is the live music stage at DECOM featuring local Burner Bands including: TV Broken, 3rd eye open, Shakey Feelin, Paracosmic, Soul Catalyst w/ Noble, Boostive, Brion Shearer, RHYNE, and BipolArte.

The Festival’s largest musical stage installation, Mystikal Misfits will launch their performance with their traditional chant of “Nåårsførtên” before Alexander Polinsky, Mixta, Grease Withaspoon, Kerry Bo Berry, Fuzzwald and The Rabbit, Small Talk, Dances with Goats, Bamboom, Squachek, and Lokidoki perform original music that can be heard on iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn Radio and Sound Cloud.

Organized by Tupa (Michael Tupa Engel) IgNight features fire spinners, fire jugglers, fire breathers, everything fire. This will be the largest fire performance in all of Los Angeles!

Some of Burning Man’s most innovative camps are coming to DECOM this year including: Awesome Town, where you can meet your favorite cereal character come to life; The Bubble Lounge, where you can get a free quickie body scrub;, Smores and Amore, The Merry Mad Tea Party, People United for Nothing, Venice Beach Drum Circle, Nebulosity and more.

You can’t miss Xusa, an enormous truck that’s been converted into a huge art sculpture featuring a “Mad Max” skeleton that generates millions of bubbles creating an enormous foam party. Other vehicles include MOD POD, the SolorSonic GreenMachine, and Heuristicus.

The 20-acre Festival will be filled with a glowing, extravagantly costumed crowd of burners and other creative characters and many more incredible, colorful craive characters.

Tickets
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 cash at the door. A number of ATMs will be set up at the gate. No re-entry after 6 pm. Children under 12 are free. Enjoy a cash bar, food trucks, performances on seven stages.

Transportation
Attendees are encouraged to take the Metro since the park is located next to the Gold Line Chinatown Metro Station. There will be paid parking available at the State Park. Ride sharing and mobile car services are encouraged.
