Auto Club Raceway In Pomona Hosting Celebration Of Southern California Icons

Called “Burgers & Burnouts” it involves several classic hot rod vehicles on display and on the track at Auto Club Speedway in Pomona – home of the National Hot Rod Association – HOT ROD magazine and the classic burgers of In-N-Out.
The event celebrating 70 years since Southern California businesses In-And-Out and NOT ROD opened within 25 miles of each other.
The 70th anniversary party will have In-N-Out cookout trucks, an outdoor car show featuring historic race cars, historical exhibits, and the chance to view the history of HOT ROD magazine, as well as opportunities to meet the HOT ROD staff. Gates will open at 7:30 a.m.
FEATURES & ACTIVITIES
The event has an exhibit of historic HOT ROD cover and feature cars. Chris Jacobs of Overhaulin’ will host a stage show featuring legendary drag racer Roland Leong, Hot Rod Legend Ed Iskenderian, Mike Brewer and Ant Anstead of Wheeler Dealers, and Former HOT ROD Editor-in-Chief and current Roadkill Host David Freiburger.
Participants may enter a Show ‘n’ Shine with HOT ROD Editor’s Choice Awards and special In-N-Out Picks. Attendees can also experience the Nostalgia Drag Racing Show, In-N-Out cookout trucks, autograph sessions, live music, and much more.
SPECTATOR TICKETS
Spectator tickets are on sale now. Advance tickets are $15, on-site tickets are $20. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult. Spectator parking is $12 per car. Spectators enter at gate 17.
