It’s a Party, and the Mexican Holiday Means The Bars Are Busy, Especially in Southern California
Sombreros and shots.
Beers and cheers.
Margaritas and Mariachi Bands.
It’s Cinco de Mayo, a celebration of a Mexican victory (but not Mexican Independence day), and bars on and near the border treat it like a mini-New Year’s Eve.
This is especially true in Southern California, where the influence of Mexico is everywhere in cantinas and restaurants. PubClub.com spends its Cinco de Mayo in his home base headquarters, Manhattan Beach, and presents these party photos. Many are from Sharkeez and Pancho’s.
