Festivals, Bands & A Beer Garden In L.A.

There is also a live music at the end of the pedestrian-only Pier Plaza; these are rock legends tribute bands. To drink, you’ll need to be seated on the patio at one of the bars such as Hennessey’s or Waterman’s.
Several thousand people go to this event each day, which also features about a hundred vendors selling paintings, beachy signs and other things for the home. clothing and other stuff.
There are a dozen food vendors behind Pier Plaza and during and afterward, the bars are alive with activity.
Plus, it’s at the beach!

This is your “hang out, hang loose” event. Topanga Canyon is L.A’s hippies hangout and that alone makes it a cool destination.
On Memorial Day Weekend, there’s a music, been & food festival – mostly music – on and around a baseball diamond.
There are five to six bands on two stages playing all day from 12:30-6 p.m. Venice, the band with Robbie Kreiger of The Doors, plays Sunday from 2-3:15.
This is a laid-back festival with beer and food booths and lots of Topanga Canyon-ish merchandise. While people do get up and dance by the main stage, it’s primarily an event to spread out a blanket for the day and enjoy the sunshine and live bands.
Parking: All along Topanga Blvd., clear of the white lines. Shuttle vans come by and pick you up for a free ride to the venue.
