German Celebration Comes To Newport Beach

There’s a new Oktoberfest celebration now in Orange County, CA.

In addition to the traditional one at Old World, there is now one at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach.

This one runs on Saturdays and Sundays thru Oct. 21. The hours are Noon-8 p.m.

Tickets range from $27 to $99 for a one day pass and $90 for the entire weekend. VIP level tickets also include a commemorative bier stein and a complimentary drink to kick off the fun! Tables are available for large groups and companies.

It features authentic Bavarian bratwurst, schnitzel, potato salad, sauerkraut, strudel and soft pretzels. Along with, of course, beer. There are a variety of German ​brews, plus ​OC​-​brewed ​c​raft ​bier.

Music is provided by host Pieter Meister von Melton.

Activities include yodeling, Dachshund Races, yodeling lessons and shows, pretzel making and a Mini Bratwurst Eating Contest.
