Mega Music Event Set To Return To Seaside Lagoon

BeachLife Festival, coming off a hugely successful debut, will be held the weekend of May 1-3 in 2020.
“We’re going to be out in Redondo Beach May first through third,” said BeachLife Festival spokesperson Katie Henley. “It’s happening and we could not be more stoked.”
She said some of the acts will be announced in late summer or early fall and to follow the event’s website – beachlifefestival.com – for information, including when early-bird tickets will be going on sale.
The event will once again be held in Seaside Lagoon, which proved to be an ideal location in the South Bay. There were three stages features acts for three days and nights. The 2019 lineup featured headliners Bob Weir, Brian Wilson and Willie Nelson.
“I can tell you it (the festival) will be bigger and better and I cannot wait.” She added the lineup will consist of “mega bands, legendary artists with a solid mix of reggae, rock, jam, just feel-good beach music.”
She said the festival is also taking feedback from fans on the event’s social media channels as organizers are putting together the 2020 lineup.
“If people have suggestions on whom they want to see, we want to know about it,” Henley said.
When pressed if Jimmy Buffett might be one of the acts, Henley did not rule it out as a possibility. In fact, she pointed out that Saint Rocke – which is the key driving force behind BeachLife – played a huge role in getting Buffett to play on the sand in Hermosa Beach a few years ago. Buffett’s beach life style of music would be ideal for a festival of this name and location.
Henley also confirmed that the live entertainment show, PubClub LIVE!, will be back at Beach Festival for 2020.
“Absolutely,” she said.
