Nightlife Event Brings Out The Singles & Hot Beach Cities Shakers

Located on Harbor Drive halfway down King Harbor Marina in the old Red Onion location (for you South Bay historical buffs), Shade Redondo Beach welcomed the party and sophisticated South Bay locals on a Friday night when another spectacular sunset set the stage for a raucous night of fun and frivolity.
South Bay style, of course.
The night started with drinks on the lower deck on a warm November evening, a light breeze teasing the masts of the sailboats a few feet away and keeping the customers cool. This was the warm-up nightlife scene, as mainly locals in the 30’s-and-up age group warmed up to what was coming later in the night.

At 8 p.m., the two upstairs levels opened to live music. With a photo banner and photographer Penny taking pics, a blue (not red) carpet and stanchions leading to the elevator, it made everyone feel like a VIP.
Granted, it’s not like like this every night. Not even on weekends. But the opening party showed that Shade is a nightlife destination in the Los Angeles Beach Cities of Hermosa, Manhattan and Redondo Beach, and is a place well worth putting on your what-are-we-doing-tonite social agenda.
So see ya there, right!? PubClub.com will be at the downstairs bar, the patio overlooking the boat or, just maybe when it’s open the third-level rooftop bar.
Cheers!
