Berry Bly’s Bash, Bars & Cover Charges
There are no fireworks outside but there are inside as the South Bay Los Angeles Beach Cities celebrates New Year’s Eve to party on the last day of 2018 and into the first day of 2018.
Here’s what’s happening and where to be in the lively towns of Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach and of course, can’t forget you Manhattan Beach!
• Hermosa Beach Ball Drop
This is a free event on Pier Plaza with two ball drops, at 9 with a big screen showing the celebration at Times Square in New York and one at midnight. A stage is set up and there’s music from crooner Lou Giovannetti. It’s a nice event, with a couple hundred people. Certainly it’s a good pre-party warmup to other events happening that night. It starts at 8 and ends after the second ball drop.
