AVP Manhattan Open, Hermosa Beach Summer Concerts & PubClub LIVE!
Yes, I know it’s been a while but hey, I’ve been busy! For starters, I have relocated to sunny San Diego! But I still have my ears to the ground in the South Bay and in fact I come up every other Thursday to co-host PubClub LIVE!, a fantastic live show on the balcony of Tower 12. Including this Thursday! So let’s get rolling with the hot happenings in the South Bay!
Thursday – PubClub LIVE!
This live show on Facebook consists of guests, previewing upcoming events, a hilarious prize wheel we spin for people, conversations with pubclubbers in Tower 12 and often live music from local musicians.
This week we have Clay Busch, one of the organizers of the Hermosa Beach Summer Concerts, which begin this weekend. You’ll definitely want to hear what this guy has to say! And because it’s the AVP Manhattan Open weekend, we also have “Meat” of Rosie’s Raiders (he was quite excited to learn that guests get to drink on the PubClub LIVE bar tab!) and Bill Sigler who will tells us all about his upcoming party bus to a Terranea pool party on the 24th. And our usual surprise guest or two. Joe’s Band, are you paying attention!??

Friday – National Rum Day
This is one of the original national days so it’s worth observing in my opinion. Plus we don’t get enough rum in our lives! Although Luau Larry certainly tries!

High-End Art Show, 8/29
You like art, right? Well there’s some super high-end art on display (and for sale) from world-renowned artists Martiros and Armen Hunanyan on Thursday, Aug. 29 at Porsche South Bay (14610 Hindry Avenue at the 405 and Rosecrans). It features modern art, modern cars, wine, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from 5:30-8 p.m. Hey, we’ve got to have a little high class in our beach lives every now and then, right!?
