Annual Bash Highlights NYE In Hermosa, Manhattan & Redondo Beach

New Year’s Eve in the South Bay means one thing, the annual Berry Bly Portofino party.
It’s happening again in 2015 and features three rooms with different music, two dance floors, DJs, tarot card readers (because you always want to know what’s in store for you in the new year!), lots of cocktails at bars and the usual fun and party-lively South Bay crowd.
Tickets are $45 and PubClub.com recommends getting them in advance. True, the South Bay singles don’t necessarily plan way ahead for such things, but the event often sells out so if you want to go it’s better to be safe than sorry.
After all, you don’t want to be standing there, all dressed up and literally no place to go on NYE.
The “Portofino Party,” as locals refer to it, is the biggest bash in the South Bay for New Year’s Eve. The venue holds more than 1,000 people and it’s always at near capacity for this and the Halloween Portofino party.
The dress is stylish for this party, classy and somewhat upscale.
The location is right on the water in Redondo Beach’s King Harbor and a balcony looks over the sea to the twinkling lights of Palso Verdes.
Imagine, if you will, getting your first kiss of 2016 with that view.
When you’re ready to rock, DJ DIK provides much of the music. He’s been voted the South Bay’s best DJ for six years in a row.
