Buvette Restaurant Hosting Flights From Fernweh Wine Co.

While Memorial Day Weekend means beer and BBQs to a lot of people, wine lovers in Los Angeles can have their moment, too.
On Tuesday of Memorial Day Weekend (May 25), Buvette restaurant in the San Fernando Valley is holding a wine tasting, hosted by Sebastian Loewenherz of Fernweh Wine Co.
Loewenherz will be pouring flights of three of his newly-released wines: Kontakt 2020 Grenache Blanc; Trinkvergnügen 2020 Rosé of Cabernet Franc; and Waldbaden 2020 Cabernet Franc. Flights of three wines are $16 each. All wines will be also available by the glass, bottle and for purchase.
Fernweh Wine Co., is a winery located in Santa Barbara County and Loewenherz is its co-fonder, as well as co-founder of wine distributor Baire Wines (@bairewines). Fernweh Wine Co. was born from Sebastian and his wife Claire’s endless passion for adventure and travel.
Fernweh means “farsickness” and the Loewenherz duo prides themselves on a less-is-more approach to their organic wines. “Each vintage is to tell a story of the land and the people, the learnings and the mishaps, laughter and tears, Loewenherz said. “Time and place captured in a bottle.”
Buvette serves a variety of wines, which varies day-to-day. To pair with the wines, Buvette also offers top-tier cheeses and charcuterie.
