Coachella DJ Alf Alpha & An Ibiza Vibe With Cocktails & Cabanas
The V Hotel in Palm Springs is holding a three-day pool party this Memorial Day Weekend complete with DJs, cocktails and cabanas.
It involves internationally-renowned DJ Richard Grey and local DJ Alf Alpha of Coachella fame.
On Saturday, May 28, Alf Alpha starts off things, no doubt bringing a bit of a Coachella flashback to the scene, then will give way Ibiza-based Frenchman DJ Richard Grey.
This is the all-out party day, Ibiza-style, as much as one could replicate Ibiza in Palm Springs anyway. It will be upbeat but don’t expect a foam party to break out or anything.
Sunday, it’s more of a low-key scene, San Tropez style, also from DJ Richard Grey.
On both days, there’s food and cocktails from the poolside bar (drink prices average $14) and cabanas with bottle service ($1,000 minimum tab; includes champagne, fruit and water and the cabanas hold groups of six to 10 people).
There’s also pool volleyball and vintage board games.
It’s open to both guests and non-guests of the hotel and there’s no cover charge to get access to the pool. Tho you might want to bring your own towel.
Memorial Day Weekend is really a kickoff for the hotel’s pool parties because this will continue every Saturday throughout the summer. It’s also the debut of the hotel’s “Strip Down” summer promotion with 25% off best available rates on rooms plus food & drinks.
Room rates start at $300 a night.
