Dates, Details & Events In Central California’s Wine Country

The four-day event in Central California is scheduled for Thursday thru Sunday, May 20-23.
This year’s event features winemaker dinners at area restaurants and at the wineries themselves there are barrel tastings, artisanal food pairings and live music. There’s even open-mic karaoke nights at Dark Star Cellars each evening.
There are also events, including a Vintners & Vines Tour at Pelletiere Vineyards & Winery, which makes Italian-style wines ($50.) Advance planning is highly recommended to take part in the events at the wineries and the winemaker dinners.
The 2021 Paso Robles Wine Festival is an in-person event tho due to social distancing and COVID-19 protocol it does not involve the traditional booth at the downtown square.
Still, it’s a lot to swallow. There are more than 150 wineries in the area and each is having special tastings and events for 2021. As they are too numerous to list here, PubClub.com is providing a link to the event’s website, which is: Winefest | Paso Robles Wine Country.
If you don’t want to leave the downtown area, there are about a dozen wine tasting rooms within walking distance of one another.
Paso Robles is located between Los Angeles and San Francisco on Highway 101. It is also serviced by Amtrak from L.A. It is particularly noted among wine lovers for its excellent Pinot Noir wines.
For those who love to include social media posts along with wine drinking, the event’s hashtag is: #PasoWineFest
