Super Bowl LX may be in San Francisco but here, San Diego is a lively place to watch the Big Game. One of the reasons is there are a lot of transplants from the cities of the teams in the Super Bowl who live here and they loyally and loudly gather to watch games at designated bars.

Additionally, there are several fun bars where people go to watch the games for the great socializing. This article contains both team bars for the Seahawks and Patriots in San Diego, as well as fun game-watching bars with food and drink specials.

As you will discover, there are a lot of lively places to watch Super Bowl LV in San Diego.

Seattle Sehawks Game-Watching Bars In San Diego

For the 12s, as Seahawks fans call themselves (that’s because of the 12th Man), the narrow and thin dive bar Thrusters in PB is a Seahawks bar and gives out shots whenever Seattle scores a touchdown. Waterbar, the large venue overlookng PB Pier and the beach, also has several Seahawks fans.

The largest Seahawks bar in San Diego is R Place Bar & Eatery in Hillcrest (University & 10th)  The Rabbit Hole in Normal Heights, El Cid Brewing in North Park and Tony Pepperoni’s up in Oceanside also get a lot of Seahawks fans.

New England Patriots Game-Watching Bars In San Diego

One of the biggest bars for Patriots fans in San Diego is Tipsy Crow (5th & F). While several people watch the game on the ground level the real action is in the upstairs lounge. In PB, The Sandbox Pizza & Wings (Garnet & Haines) is a complete Boston bar.  Another Pats bar is Players Sportsbar in Kearny Mesa

Pacific/Mission Beach Super Bowl Bars

Okay, getting away from specific bars for Hawks and Pats fans, here’s some insight on other places. Two of PubClub.com’s San Diego Bartenders of the Month – “Cute” Kate at Miss B’s Coconut Club in Mission Beach and Natalie at 710 Beach Club in PB – are from Seattle. And you can bet that they will be slinging drinks with high spirits at both of those places on Super Sunday.

I can also assure you that Hideaway will be busy and buzzing from a socializing standpoint. Across the street and down a couple blocks, PB Local has a huge screen on a large patio so that is another lively PB bar for Super Bowl Sunday.
