
The Carlsbad Flower Fields, which are called the Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch, feature an impressive display of 50 million Giant Tecolote Ranunculus blooms spread across 50 acres.
It is open on Mother’s Day, as well as daily, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
The 5-acre Sea of Sunflowers patch features all colors, shapes, and sizes and is included with the price of entry. Hop on one of the brand new Tractor Wagon Rides and get dropped off right at the scene of a sunflower sanctuary, where some sunflowers are as big as small moons and others are more than 12 feet in height.

Single ticket admission is $22 for adults, $20 for seniors 60+ and military, $10 for children 3–10, and free for children under three while season passes are available for $46 for adults, $42 for seniors 60+ and military, $20 for children 3–10, with group tours also available.
And you better go now, for the flowers are only in bloom for six to eight weeks a year, from early March until early May.
For more than 60 years, the rolling hills of North San Diego County are transformed into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world. It’s an annual spring tradition for many people in the area, and for a very good reason.
