Enjoy Discounted Drinks At These San Diego Bars Before The Wild Horses Festival

The 2024 Wild Horses Festival, a counry music festival in San Diego’s Petco Park – the home stadium of the Padres baseball team – is back for 2024. The date is the eve of New Year’s Eve, or Dec. 30. The 2024 headliners are Post Malone. Vincent Neil Emerson, Zach Top and Paul Cauthen.

And those with tickets looking to get a few cocktails before the show can get discounted drinks at these Gaslamp and East Village bars.

At Borrego Rooftop Kitchen + Cocktails in Hotel Indigo – which has a balcony with a vew where you can actually see inside Petco Park as well as fire pits – has these special cocktials, each for $16.

• Posty’s Paloma made with tequila, Radler and grapefruit juice

• The White Iverson, a white Russian made with bourbon

• A variety of beer and champagne will be available for $2 off the regular prices

They drinjs are available from 4-11 p.m.

Havana 1920 has 20% off of food for those with a concert ticket. The food is really good and includes Cubano sandwich ($16) and or the Havana Bocaditos Platter for $25. Cocktails include the Havana 1920 Daiquiri (a Cuban twist on the cocktail made to order with Havana Club Añejo Puerto Rican rum, fresh lime juice and fresh sugarcane syrup); the Cuban Espresso Martini made with Santa Teresa rum, Havana 1920 cold brew, almond orgeat and R&D sarsaparilla bitters; the Havana 1920 Mojito made with GBOD Real McCoy Single Blend rum, fresh lime juice, Cuban mint, sugarcane juice, sugarcane syrup and club soda; and more, each priced at $15.

Next door at El Chingon concert ticket holders also 20% off Mexican food. Cocktails include the Border Crossing Fruit Cart, a combination of Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, pineapple, watermelon, dry curaçao, almond orgeat, chamoy and Tajín, priced at $13; Madero, a refreshingly smooth hombre with a tangy kick handcrafted with Real Del Valle tequila, house-made watermelon cordial and Tajín, priced at $13.
